Welcome to the Leduc SDA Church Website

The Leduc Seventh-day Adventist Church is pleased to Welcome Pastor Melbourne Turgott as their pastor. We are also delighted to welcome his wife Pauline, and son Matthew.
 
Pastor Turgott is a native of Jamaica and has been a pastor for over fifteen years. He has been ordained for nine of those years. Back in Jamaica he has served the church as teacher, principal and pastor. During that time Pastor Turgott has seen the Holy Spirit working in the lives of many people as well as leading hundreds of members into the kingdom.
 
In the fall of 2004 pastor Turgott came to Canada with his family to study for the Master of Science Degree in Marital and family Therapy at Loma Linda University (Canadian Campus). After completing his studies in 2007, Pastor Turgott and his family decided to make Canada their home. Since then he has preached in several churches in Alberta and participated in planting a second church in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Pastor Turgott was then extended a call by the Alberta Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist church to become the pastor of the Leduc Church Effective September 1, 2010.
 
Pastor Turgott and his family are excited about this call and look forward to serving the church and the community through the power of the Holy Spirit.
